Psychotherapy
I provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. Sessions are 60 minutes and scheduled weekly in-person or online. Psychotherapy is a type of treatment that can help individuals experiencing a wide array of mental health conditions and emotional challenges. Psychotherapy can help not only alleviate symptoms, but also, certain types of psychotherapies can help identify the psychological root causes of one’s condition so a person can function better and have enhanced emotional well-being and healing.

Clients Served: I specialize in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorders, pediatric anxiety disorders, and panic disorder. I also have experience working with clients living with depression, postraumatic symptoms and life transitions.

Fees for Services: My fees are $200/session and $250 for the initial intake evaluation. I am an in-network provider for the following insurance company: Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS). Please check directly with your insurance company to verify that your session will be covered. Although I am a BCBS provider, there are many different plans and you must check with your plan to verify whether the visit will be considered “in-network”.
I am considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies. You can check with your insurance company to find out how to use your out-of-network benefits. Most insurance companies will reimburse a percentage of the fees. This percentage varies depending on your individual plan but is typically in the 50-100% range after a deductible has been met. Many clients choose to use their Health or Flex Savings Plan to pay for services. If you choose to work with me, you will be required to pay for your session in full at the time of service and I will provide you with a monthly statement (“superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company.
Training and Consultation
I offer individual and group consultation and training for clinicians and organizations.

Good Faith Estimate Statement
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Cancelation Policy
Ryan asks that patients provide 24 business hours notice prior to cancelling any appointment. If patients do not cancel in this time frame or fail to come to an appointment, they will be charged the full fee. This excludes any medical emergencies.
