Biography

Ryan J. Glode, M.A., LMHC, is an experienced licensed mental health counselor with specialized expertise in the assessment and treatment of obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. He holds dual licensure in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and earned both his B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from Assumption College.

He brings over a decade of clinical experience across premier institutions, including the Child and Adolescent OCD Institute at McLean Hospital and the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center (PARC) at Bradley Hospital. Ryan has held multiple clinical leadership roles, including serving as Director of OCD Services at a group practice specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy, where he oversaw clinical programming and supervision in evidence-based treatment for OCD and related disorders.

His clinical practice integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), with additional proficiency in behavioral activation, habit reversal training, and trauma-informed care.

In addition to his clinical work, Ryan serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor and Practicum Supervisor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Rhode Island, where he provides clinical supervision to graduate students through the Psychological Consultation Center. He is also an active consultant and trainer and has delivered lectures at Brown University, the University of Rhode Island, and other academic institutions.

Ryan is the Founder and Vice President of OCD Rhode Island, an official affiliate of the International OCD Foundation, where he is actively involved in professional advocacy, education, and community outreach. His presentations blend clinical rigor with practical application, and his professional work reflects a longstanding commitment to expanding access to evidence-based treatment for OCD and related disorders.
